Chiefs Training Camp Update 8/31

The Kansas City Chiefs continued on with practice today despite the departure of offensive coordinator Chan Gailey.  The Chiefs stayed true to the depth chart with a few changes.  

  • Tyler Thigpen practiced with the first team
  • Jarrad Page did practice and was with the second team
  • Donald Washington moved to the first team with Brandon Flowers out

Defense

  • Donald Washington took first team duties with Flowers out and had a nice INT (Josh Looney at the Mothership)
  • Maurice Leggett continued in the nickel with Flowers out (Josh Looney at the Mothership)
  • Jon McGraw worked with the first team while Jarrad Page was with the second team (Josh Looney at the Mothership)

Injuries

  • Not practicing: WR Devard Darling, CB Brandon Flowers, S Bernard Pollard, LB Zach Thomas, WR Amani Toomer, TE Jake O’Connel and QB Matt Cassel.
  • Injuries that don't surprise us: Darling, Flowers, Thomas, O'Connell and Cassel.  No word on Pollard and Toomer. (Josh Looney at the Mothership)
