Earlier this morning, Jason LaConfora of the NFL Network and Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars were having discussions surrounding a possible trade for quarterback Tyler Thigpen.
Thigpen spoke to the media following the Chiefs washed-out practice this morning and, at this point, it's news to him.
"I haven’t heard anything (about a trade) as of right now," Thigpen said. "Right now my focus at hand is the Seattle Seahawks. All the other stuff I can’t control. The only thing that i can control is the way that I prepare myself to play against the Seattle Seahawks."
Thigpen did admit, however, he was "frustrated" with the Chiefs current setup according to Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star.
If the trade talks are indeed true, do you actually expect the Chiefs to keep him informed of the discussions until a deal is virtually done?
Just because it's news to Thigpen doesn't throw the report out.
