The Chiefs got dressed for practice in the locker room. They walked out on Ramer Field. They huddled up.
All for the last time. In River Falls, that is.
The Kansas City Chiefs are conducting their final practice (ever?) in River Falls, Wisconsin this afternoon. There's a small chance that the renovations at Missouri Western won't be done in time for next year's camp and the Chiefs could be back. The decision has to be made by October.
But, more than likely, it's a dreary, rainy end to 20 years of training camp.
Clark Hunt is in camp today to help send off the troops. A walk-through started at 10:30 this morning then Matt Cassel is expected to address the media at lunch time.
ChiefsPR has posted a few photos, including the one above, of the Chiefs waning hours in River Falls. I've posted a couple more after the jump.
The walk from the locker room to the field....
Huddle up, one last time...
