Weather Cancels Chiefs 8/19 PM Training Camp Practice

I've had three references to the weather up in River Falls today so this will be four.

Josh Looney has informed us that the afternoon practice scheduled for today will be rained out. Practice was slated to start at 4:30 this afternoon.

So, I'm not exactly sure what we're going to do this afternoon.

In it's place, the Chiefs will conduct a closed-to-the-media walk-through indoors at the Knowles Center.  It's two days before the game, so this is something the Chiefs probably would have done tomorrow anyway.

To my knowledge, this is the first practice that won't go on as planned.  Other than a practice that runs a little long here or a little short there, the Todd Haley has been right on schedule with two-a-days then one-a-day rotation.

So, no updates on the Chiefs camp practice this afternoon.  It's unlikely it will be made up considering the time constraints between now and Friday night's game with the Vikings.

One practice is scheduled for 2-4PM tomorrow and, it being a day before a game, I can't see Haley pulling a two-a-day.  But I've been surprised before.

ChiefsPR has a couple pictures of the weather.  And, apparently Josh Looney likes funnel clouds.  And funnel cakes.
