Kansas City Chiefs Announce 2009 Training Camp Schedule

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their training camp plans for 2009.  The team will begin the trek to River Falls, WI on Thursday, July 30th.  Camp will continue until August 20th.

Here are a few key dates:

  • 1st practice: Saturday, August 1st
  • Family Fun Day: Saturday, August 8th
  • Final practice: Thursday, August 20th

The team will depart for River Falls on July 30th.  No word yet on whether Todd Haley will drive to Wisconsin like Herm Edwards used to do.

As a reminder, here's the Chiefs pre-season schedule.  They'll leave camp following their second preseason game.
