And with the #51 Pick in the Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Dallas Cowboys Select...

Missouri SS William Moore

chiefsfan1384 with the pick...

The Cowboys got rid of two headaches on their roster this past offseason. One was the mouthy Terrell Owens and the other was the one dimensional Roy Williams. Roy made multiple pro bowls because he was an over rated player on “America’s Team”. Yeah he could tackle well, but that was it. Enter William Moore who stands in at 6’0” 228 lbs. Moore played free safety at Missouri, but a lot of scouts’ project him to be a strong safety at the next level due to the idea that he doesn’t have top end speed for deep coverage. However, Moore has great ball skills unlike Williams who couldn’t intercept a ball if his life depended on it. Moore collected 10 interceptions and four forced fumbles at MU. He could have been a first round pick, but he dropped off a little his senior year. Also, the boys won’t be losing much in run support in that Moore does not hesitate to lay the wood. Moore should provide some stability to the shaky Cowboys secondary and become a nice tandem with free safety Ken Hamlin.

Round 1 is here.

Previous pick: RB Shonn Green
