2009 draft.......1st round tendencies

After reading the post about pioli by mooseface79 ( which was a nice post BTW) i just wanted to take a look at pioli's first round picks from the same years that mooseface79  used in his post.  maybe this could shed some light on where we might go in the first round. oh yeah i am using the same site that mooseface79 did and that is http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/history?

so out of these 8 pick you have five offensive picks and 3 defensive picks.  2 running backs and 2 linebackers lead the way with 1 offensive guard 1 tight end 1 offensive tackle and 1 defensive tackle.   my guess its that crabtree is out for us unless we absolutely cannot trade down.  i also think that if we do trade down that pioli will look for a true leader for the defense the way that Ray Lewis has been for the Ravens for all these years.  what are your thoughts??
