The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Cincinnati Bengals but Ryan Succop continued his positive campaign with a Chiefs rookie franchise record 22nd field goal.
K Ryan Succop hit his 22nd FG of the season, surpassing Hall of Fame K Jan Stenerud (21) for the most made FGs by a rookie in Chiefs history. Succop now has 90 points on the year, the third-highest tally by a rookie kicker in team history. Succop also has 24 made PATs, tying as the fourth-highest tally by a Chiefs rookie.
Stenerud is the leading points scorer for a rookie kicker at 108. Succop is 18 points behind so he's unlikely to pass that. He is 14 point behind second place Jack Spikes, set in 1960.
Also in the special teams category, Dustin Colquitt now has 39 punts inside the 20 on the season, a franchise record. It's also the third highest total in NFL history.
San Francisco 49ers punter Andy Lee set the NFL record with 42 in 2007.
