Don't Forget Toys for Tots Today at the Chiefs Game

6af53b6feb714770b94722995bdd72b9_mediumToday the Kansas City Chiefs along with the members from the Marine Corps will be collecting Toys for Tots.

The Chiefs are asking that you bring new and unwrapped toys today for kids. There's a particular need this year for toys for older kids as well. This year, likely because of the economy, is supposed to be one of the most dire in decades so let's do what we can to make this a GOOD year.

"It seems that the Kansas City Chiefs Football Club has always appreciated the fans and their families," noted Colonel Jay L. Huston, Commander 24 Marine Regiment. "That sense of family is extended by the support they give the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. It allows thousands of children throughout the Kansas City area and across our Nation to receive a toy this holiday season they otherwise may not. A special thanks to the Hunt family for their continued generous support!"

Last night, I went to Ms. Primetime's office party and, with the help of a couple friends, brought in a huge bag of toys.

So, stop by Wal-Mart or Target on your way out, spend $10, and help someone out this year.

It's important that we help out on this.  The Chiefs have been doing this longer than any other franchise.
