The folks from CBS have released a memo to some of their partners indicating that the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game will "likely" be sold out and televised on TV.
We obtained the memo. Here's what it says:
It appears that the Chiefs are likely to sell out. They received a 1-day extension that allows them to continue selling tickets through this afternoon. We should have final confirmation from the NFL today at about 1pm eastern time at which point we will confirm with KCTV.
I'd say they're pretty confident it'll be sold out at this point.
The NFL generally grants extensions only if a sellout is likely so this isn't surprising news.
