Well, that didn't take long.
In the second quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs game against the San Diego Chargers, Chris Chambers registered a touchdown reception.
It's his third as a Chief and his first since being released by the Chargers a month ago. He has five catches so far today.
The early story for the Chiefs is the play of Jamaal Charles. He currently has seven carries for 64 yards and is running like he wants to get paid (which is a good thing). He had a heck of a run in the second quarter for 31 yards. Five Chargers had a chance, and failed to take him down.
However, Chargers QB Philip Rivers responded with a deep pass to Malcolm Floyd, the player who took Chambers' spot on the Chargers, and San Diego now leads by 7.
The Chiefs offense is definitely able to move the ball today. "It's just weird seeing so many first downs," Ms. Primetime reports.
