Another Former Chief Wins High School Coach of the Week

Hhtim_mediumFormer Kansas City Chiefs lineman Tim Grunhard has been awarded High School Coach of the Week by the Kansas City Chiefs.

The High School Coach of the Week award is a joint initiative of the team, Chiefs Ambassadors and the NFL.  Also supported by the US Army, the award was designed to recognize area coaches for superior performance throughout the high school season.

According to the Chiefs press release, the award was given to Grunhard for his Bishop Miege team beating Blue Valley 42-28 last week.  Tied 28-28, his team scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to preserve the victory.

Grunhard is the second former Chief to win the award.  Kimble Anders, head coach of Northeast High School, won the award in week two.

The Chiefs Ambassadors are a group of former players that, along with the organization, promote goodwill throughout the community.

Congratulations to Mr. Grunhard and Bishop Miege for the honor.
