Morning Update (The Long Week Begins Edition)

Since the league typically frowns upon big time announcements like head coaching hires during Super Bowl week, we're stuck for another week in limbo. We'll be adding different content this week to get through this. For now, try to put the puzzle together below. Drag the pieces together and they should fuse together when you get them close. First one to figure out who the two main players in the picture are wins. The border should make this first one pretty easy. I'm more curious now how it works for everyone. I snagged this idea from Canal Street Chronicles.

This West Virginia writer is pushing for Derrick Thomas to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend.

Bob Gretz is talking about all of the head coaching changes in the NFL this year.

Lions head coach Jim Schwartz on Gunther Cunningham: "The best way I can describe Gunther Cunningham, and what I tell people who don't know him, is that every minute of every day, it's fourth and one, and that's the way he approaches football and life. That's what we need in Detroit.''

I really enjoyed this read from the Hartford Courant about Eric Mangini and new Browns GM George Kokninis and their start with the Cleveland Browns. It talks about Scott Pioli as well.

New Bucs GM Mark Dominik is from Lawrence, KS, and LJ World has a good read on him.

Peter King has tons of info on Todd Haley in his MMBQ article this morning. H/T woodman2121. has the best recap I've come across for what went down last week in preperation for the Senior Bowl.
