Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft -- Pick #44 by the Chicago Bears

And with the 44th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Chicago Bears select:

Virginia Tech OT Duane Brown

Draft Profile

kchief1990 with the pick:

Chad Henne was an option at this point but drafting an OT would make more sense. The Bears will be looking to replace RT Fred Miller and Duane Brown looks like a good prospect. In one of the deepest classes of offensive lineman Brown is one of the more athletic lineman. He has good footwork and was quick in position drills and has seen his stock rise because of it.He blocked for a Virginia Tech offensive that averaged 330 yards per game and did a solid job. Getting switched around from RT to LT in his senior year might be one of the reasons he didn't perform his way into a first round selection but he still is a solid pick.
