And with the #11 overall pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Buffalo Bills select:
Troy University CB Leodis McKelvin
MAWK with the pick:
After a mad scramble following the Saints' selection of Jenkins, the Bills come down to a tough decision. Receiver is definitely a need, and Malcolm Kelly and Limas Sweed are both just sitting there waiting to be plucked. But Bills management has their eye on the prize, and want to fully develop their defense while they wait to see how their quarterback situation shakes out and watching their young offense develop.
So instead they turn to McKelvin, the second corner on their board. McKelvin allows them to use their athleticism on defense to take some risks. His speed and overall athleticism was just too much to pass up at this point. If there's a solid receiver hanging around in the second round, though, the Bills are ready like spaghetti.
