Duke`s Steve Spurrier is among the coaches being considered to replace Frank Gansz as coach of the NFL`s Kansas City Chiefs, sources said Friday. Gansz was fired Thursday by new Chiefs` president Carl Peterson after compiling an 8-22-1 record in two seasons. The Chiefs` top choices are said to be former Philadelphia Eagles coach Dick Vermeil and Chicago Bears` defensive coordinator Vince Tobin. Vermeil has indicated he probably will not come out of retirement.
