Okoye is one of my favorite players in this draft. Defensive line is a huge need for the Chiefs, and the lightening quick Okoye is a good fit in their defense. Okoye is only 19 years old, but has started for an impressive Louisville team since he was a true freshman. He has as much upside as anyone in this draft. He reminds me of the Bears' Pro Bowl defensive tackle Tommy Harris. Okoye didn't have a great Combine, he ran a 5.00 forty yard dash, but he weighed in right at 6' 2" 300 pounds. Okoye is a great value here. If OT Levi Brown is still available, he is also a prime target.

Chiefs would like to see Brown slide to them, but Bowe is a nice selection. The Chief receivers are downright awful and Bowe is an immediate upgrade, plus adds youth.

It seems like every draft the Chiefs have the wide receiver on the top of their 'Team Needs' sheet and it seems like nobody seems to fall to the Chiefs. In this deep wide out class, there should be at least a couple for Herm Edwards' crew to choose from. Bowe has nice size (6'2") and good speed, who can potentially go a lot higher.
Walters Football
Herman Edwards proved he doesn't know much about offense during his team's horrendous showing against Indianapolis, but even he can recognize that his receiving corps is complete garbage. Ted Ginn could also help in the return game; Dante Hall hasn't done much since losing Derrick Blaylock.

Draft Connection
This offense somehow aged 5 years between 2005 and 2006, so they need to get younger in a hurry. They haven't had a game changing WR in a while (D. Hall doesn't count) so the talented Bowe would fit well here. Bowe offers an upgrade at size, athletism and hand-eye coordination at the WR position and will eventually replace E. Kennison as the #1 WR in the offense.
Draft Tek likes Dwayne Jarrett from USC.

The picks for a WR just keep coming. Seemingly everybody thinks we should go this way. And the way the free agent WRs are being picked up, I would say thats probably what we should do too. We are making zero attempts at any of the free agent wideouts, so I'm guessing the Chiefs have to address this in the draft.
