Mock Draft Tracker Update #7

Fox Sports

The depth at receiver could actually hurt some of the positions top prospects, with teams knowing there will be plenty of value later on. Bowe is a top 15 talent who could drop to the Chiefs, who certainly need to upgrade their receiving corps to help make life easier on RB Larry Johnson.
Roto Times
The Chiefs offense badly needs a playmaker to go with Larry Johnson and Jarrett is the best one left on the board. Rookie wideouts rarely make an impact, but Dwayne could get a chance to do so if he can earn a starting spot.
The Football Expert (Updated)
Please. Take a wide receiver. Now. Meacham has outstanding tools. He has great speed but showed he can go over the middle. Perfect pick.
Fantasy Info Central
Aaron Ross (CB), Texas - The Chiefs are in a position to plan for the future with veterans Ty Law and Patrick Surtain. For years, the Chiefs could have used a playmaker at receiver but they look the other way. I think they do the same thing here.
Betus.com
The Chiefs need a playmaker on offense. Eddie Kennison is not a standout number one option and Tony Gonzalez is entering his twilight years. Sidney Rice has exceptional size and great hands. Trent Green, as long as he stays in KC, will be able to make the most of this receivers size. Rice lacks speed, and could add some pounds, but he will be an immediate impact player for KC.
The Brushback
Dwayne Bowe. The Chiefs should select any receiver in college football and immediately make him their go-to guy. Also, make him their wide receiver coach.
