Finally. Nothing major. But SOMETHING relevant about the Chiefs. From the Palm Beach Post:
The Dolphins' interest in Kansas City quarterback Trent Green, 36 and coming off an injury-marred season, seems to have cooled, leaving the feeling that Miami's next significant moves could come during the April 28-29 draft.
It seemed like Miami was the most interested suitors of Trent Green. For right now, it seems like the Vikings are still interested.
There's still a chance the Vikings could trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for veteran quarterback Trent Green in exchange for a low-round draft pick.
There you have it. One sentence among other one-line news in the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Its not something I'm jumping all over just yet as a done deal but I am glad that Trent is still garnering interest around the league. Sad enough as it is to say, we need to dump Trent's huge cap hit and wish him the best. Minnesota just loves hanging on to those late thirty, early forty year old QBs, don't they?
