This has been one of the most active Chiefs free agency periods in a long time. Like Jon said over at MVN, this "new" approach by the Chiefs brass during free agency leaves me with excitement for the 2007 campaign. Here is a quick rundown of the Chiefs free agency.

Right now, we are sitting on one of the most solid linebacking corps in the league. We don't have an Urlacher but we do have four above average players in Kawika Mithell, Derrick Johnson, Napoleon Harris and now Donnie Edwards. Even if Kawika Mitchell does go to the Lions, I am still confident and proud of the fact that we upgraded our LBs considerably.
I almost forgot to give a big WELCOME BACK!!! to Donnie Edwards. Anything that reminds of the Chiefs defense in the 1990s is a good thing I decided.
