Marty Schottenheimer, on ESPN a few days ago.
I am obviously biased about Derrick and his accomplishments. I saw him make more game-changing plays in our time together than any other player I've coached. Those that are opposed to his selection as a Hall of Fame player don't appreciate the sacrifices that he made by playing as a defensive end in a four-man line. The greatest tribute that can be made to a defensive player is that he can change the outcome of games. Derrick Thomas certainly did just that.
Marty has a certain believability about him that has matured over the years. I respect his opinion and believe he tells the truth with little to no BS.
