Off Season Transaction - Omar Jacobs

After posting about the Chiefs agreeing to terms with 13 players yesterday, thatswhatshesaid brought up Omar Jacobs, the 2006 5th round pick who was briefly with the Steelers and the Eagles on their practice/developmental squads. Admittedly, I know relatively nothing about Jacobs. His draft profile is fairly damning, citing his lack of technique as his biggest obstacle to overcome.

Forget Printers. He's obviously using his gig on the practice squad of the Chiefs to promote his modeling career. Regardless, I don't think he is that talented. Which leaves us with Croyle, Jacobs, Green and Huard for the moment. Huard and Green's fates are up in the air, so Omar Jacobs could conceivably be our backup QB of the future.
