Is it the "Curse of 370 carries"? Is it the offensive line? Is it the play calling? Or does Larry Johnson himself deserve the blame?
Oh. You were looking for an answer. Well I don't have one. Not a definitive one anyway. I suspect most of the blame can be laid at the feet of our offensive line. I heard some random sports radio guy at lunch rag on LJ for not "breaking enough tackles". From what I saw, LJ received no help blocking. Not even Tommie Frazier himself (circa 1995 Fiesta Bowl) could have broken enough tackles to win that game.
Its Week 6. Time to find a solution before the Chiefs running game drowns the rest of the season. The scary part? I don't think our problems on the line are fixable this season. We have to play better with the players we have right now. Larry's and the Chiefs' season are riding on the shoulders of the offensive line. The tipping point is nearing.
