EDWARDS: "Oooooh, a lot. If he can get through Friday we’ll know more. I think he should be fine."
Q: What would you expect from him in this situation?
EDWARDS: "A veteran guy. I don’t think Eddie will miss a beat. I just think he’ll go in there and play. He’s played in a lot of football games. He’s played against Jacksonville before. Mentally, he’s into the game. He knows what to do. Eddie’s a pro. Even though he hasn’t played he’s been involved in the games. He’s traveled with us; he’s been in meetings. He’s done everything but practice full speed for the last week or two. Last week he did the scout team for us."
I've never been a huge Eddie Kennison fan because he's never been anything more than a strong no. 2 guy who just happened to be the no. 1 guy on a weak receiving team. But I do like the guy. Don't get me wrong. I was just never very impressed. Now that you put him opposite Dwayne Bowe in our starting WR corp, I'm excited about Kennison.
Note: I won't be devoting a full post to injuries each week unless its something significant. You can view an updated injury report (and TV distribution maps) in the Gameday block in the right sidebar of the site.
