Huard survives for another week.
Coach Herm Edwards made the announcement after Wednesday’s practice, in which Huard took part in all phases of the offense and did not show any evidence of pain from the injury suffered in last week’s loss to Jacksonville.
The Cincy defense isn't going to knock Huard out of this weekend's game so he's going to be the starter indefinitely. It would have been nice for Brodie Croyle to make his NFL starting debut against the 28th ranked pass defense and the 29th ranked rush defense though.
"It felt fine," said Huard, who declined to elaborate until his regularly scheduled Thursday session with reporters.
