Chiefs Looking to Mexico for their O-Line Needs

I'm guessing this is him but I don't speak Spanish.

Check it out:

Phones jangled, PR people sighed, and Mexican reporters made plans to fly to Kansas City today, when the Chiefs are expected to sign an unknown offensive lineman who goes by the nickname of "Pencil." That's the buzz Ramiro Pruneda has created in his hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, where his followers hope that someday he'll become just the second nonkicker from their country to play in an NFL game.

Pruneda is 6'7" and 320 pounds. This story is creating a little buzz around the blogosphere but put me on record right now as saying Pruneda will have little to no impact and that the Chiefs are obviously really, really desperate for O-line help. Call it a hunch.

Carl, there is a reason why there has only been one other nonkicker to come out of Mexico. This is not baseball and Mexico is not Japan. The only reason I would give Pruneda any credence is because Grunhard is backing him.
