Doesn't it feel that way? Except the difference this year is that we won those two or three close games that we haven't been winning in the past. I can imagine myself writing something along the lines of, "The Chiefs would be sitting pretty if they had only won the Arizona and Oakland Raider game at home."
The past few Chiefs' seasons have been about almost making it to the playoffs. As we sit in the No. 5 playoff spot, with an edge over Denver even if we both go 10 and 6, I have to say I feel pretty good about the Chiefs' playoff chances. I would put my guess at right about 75%, just like the poll to the right says.
