Herm Edwards=Lighter Art Shell?
So i was looking around today on the internet and found the following. By the way, based on how much Bill Simmons from ESPN likes Art Shell, I don't think this is a complement. Also, a little demoralizing when national media types start saying this two weeks into the season (Drinks more beer)
Reader Jstoner in Bakersfield believes "Herm Edwards is simply Art Shell post gastric bypass. His new nickname should be GBAS (Gastric Bypassed Art Shell)." I'm almost positive this isn't a compliment. In Herm's defense, I think I figured out his game plan after his bizarre endorsement of Tyler Thigpen this week: He's hoping to lose 18 straight games and bottom out, inexplicably keep his job, land another high draft pick, then tread water until the Chiefs find him an elite defensive coordinator, the best defensive player in the league, a dominant quarterback and a team of hungry veterans willing to play hard for him.
By the way, I will be sporting my red and gold at the Georgia Dome this weekend and if anyone has suggestions of where to go prior to the game (due to needing excessive amounts of beer to withstand the pain) I sure would appreciate it.

OT: Pregame Festivities
Hey Folks,
I apologize for posting a fanpost for this but noticed that there is not much response to Fanshots. I am Chiefs fan down in Atlanta for the week and am going to the game this weekend. I was wondering if fans tailgate and if so, where that might occur. In addition, are there any bars around the Stadium that will open up early on Sunday for some Beers and breakfast. We are staying downtown (near Olympic Park) so anywhere in that area would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

Tix for Tonights Game...now Gone
Fellow AP readers,
It appears likely that i am going to have between 2-4 extra tickets for tonights game. I asked Chris and he is ok with me giving them away on this site. I won't know for sure until probably about 3 but if anyone would be interested let me know and I can meet you up at the Stadium to give you the tickets before game time. My email is skibum1537 at aol dot com (obviously don't write it out but i have gotten spammed by putting the address before) and I can give you more information. I will be taking requests first come first serve. Look forward to hearing from you and meeting a couple of you.
Jeff
UPDATE>>>>I have received requests for all of the tickets so there are no more to give. Sorry everyone else.

Other NFL Stadiums
Fellow BCBer's,
I set an informal goal for the year that i was going to see a sporting event at 10 different venues this year. To that end, i think that i am going to have to see our KANSAS CITY CHIEFS in at least one, if not two other stadiums this year. I am going to be in Atlanta for that week and am thinking about making the trip to Denver to go watch our chiefs pound the donkeys.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on a good stadium to see a game at? Has anyone seen one at the Georgia Dome or Invesco and know anything about them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Only about 1 week until our boys go to training camp) I can't wait to roll my bus back up to one arrowhead drive

Bus Storage
Hey Everyone,
I don't know if this is really the forum for it but I figured someone on here might know the answer so I thought I would ask. I recently acquired a Chiefs Party Bus. It is just a converted short school bus from the 80's and I am looking for a place to store it. The only places that I can really find are some outdoor lots that cost $50 a month and then Leeds out by the stadium which is indoors and a little bit cheaper. Does anyone have a bus with a place that they like to store it? Any help would be appreciated. I can post pictures for us to share in if someone explains how to do it.
Thanks
