Do you intend to prepare Orton to start against Chicago? "No. I think we have a much better chance this week to compete and, like I said, Tyler’s the starter. But if we feel there’s somebody that gives us a better chance to win, that’s the guideline we generally follow. I can’t really answer any of that other than we need to get back to work. We can’t let this disappointing loss drag us down."
Todd Haley refused to disclose what, if any, punishment that will be given to offensive lineman Barry Richardson for his actions during Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
But he did appear to indicate Richardson will face some kind of penalty when he indicated he didn't have all of the necessary information by the time the game ended.
"Todd made me understand that to be a leader to your teammates, to get them to respect you and to be a great player you have to do more," Fitzgerald continued. "You have to do the extra. I’ve taken that to heart. Even since he’s left I’ve continued to do the things that he taught me." In two seasons with Haley on the Cardinals’ coaching staff, Fitzgerald caught 196 passes for 2,840 yards and 22 touchdowns. And while Haley has developed a reputation as a tough coach to play for, Fitzgerald said he didn’t see it and would love to play for him again.
"I will go play for him in Canada or if he was coaching high school," Fitzgerald said. "I would go and do whatever coach Haley asked me to do because that is just the respect and admiration I have for him."
Coughlin had just finished playing in the golf tournament set up by the commissioner for the coaches to play with sponsors when he found out the new rule had passed. Ryan, who was not playing golf, found out from a reporter.

"I shared an 8-by-8 office with Charlie for three years in New York, oh, by the way," Haley told the Associated Press a month ago. "I know Charlie about as up-close-and-personal as you could know him."
"I'm not a big fan of the quick hook," he said. "I never did that with quarterbacks when they played for me, and I really don't think one year is enough to prove what you are trying to get done. I wouldn't be a fan of just allowing a guy to coach just one year and out."
Tht's wassup!! I'm happy Larry Johnson signed w/Bengals! He's def n a better situation than n KC under tht HC!

What has Haley done to indicate he'll be a good coach..? Is it logical or hopeful to project Haley as a good head coach in the future? Is it because there have been so many good things said about him? Wait, there really haven’t been… Is it because he used to coach for Bill Parcells and his dad is a legendary scout, so the football pedigree has to be there..?
A small scuffle broke out during the 11-on-11 drill. It was not clear how the disagreement got started, but there were both offensive and defensive players in the heap. Things like "Get off me!" could be heard. Head Coach Todd Haley was not pleased with the fight, and made the entire team run down and back from the 50-yard line. "We will not beat ourselves, men," Haley shouted. "We will not beat ourselves!"
