Community Mock Draft Update

The first annual AP Community Mock Draft has been a rousing success so far. We've met our daily goal of three picks and everyone's write ups have been great.

For the second round, I neglected to note that the Falcons have the Raiders second round pick, which they got for CB Deangelo Hall. Also, the draft order between Atlanta, Oakland and KC rotates each round. Here is the current line up:

2- 3-34 Atlanta from Oakland (Chris)

2- 4-35 Kansas City (Tom Bahali)

2- 5-36 New York Jets (phelps216)

2- 6-37 Atlanta (Chris)

After these picks, we will be on the same track as the first round.

The Falcons

are where the Dolphins wish they were. Atlanta has a chance to immediately turn this team around if they draft well. They have, I think 4 picks in the top 50 or something like that.

4 in the top 48

and 6 in the top 103.

If I had to guess Atlanta would be drafting J. Long/C. Long/G. Dorsey, if available in that order. Then I see them packaging a 2nd and a 3rd, or 2 2nds however it works out, to get back into the 1st round in the 20s or so and get Brian Brohm.
