Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft -- Pick #26 by the Jacksonville Jaguars

And with the 26th pick in the 2008 Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select:

USC DE Lawrence Jackson

Draft Profile

nillaguerilla with the pick:

With Bobby McCray going to the Saints, the Jaguars desperately need some depth at DE. At 6 ft. 5 in. 275 Lawrence Jackson fits perfectly in a defense which loves is defensive lineman big. Jackson could provide the pass rush the Jaguars need to take pressure off of a shaky secondary. Also a head coach who played at USC as well makes this a good fit.

I like it
I've heard him dropping to the first part of the 2nd round but I think he'll be a monster.

he could also be a Julius Peppers to a Ryan Sims where Sedrick Ellis is the bust

Not a bad point
I'm weary of ALL defensive tackles but Ellis seems to be a can't miss.

Jinx. Double jinx. Damn!
