It's pretty obvious that offensive line was the weakest unit of the 2007 Steelers (47 sacks allowed). While a flashy wide receiver with size or a play making corner back with return skills would have created some buzz, the safe choice is Cherilus. The four year starter at Boston College should get every opportunity to play from day one. He struggled his senior season after switching from right to left tackle, and by all accounts will be limited to the right side in the pros. He's already a good run blocker and a better pass blocker than he showed his senior season.

The Steelers would have rather had Albert, Otah or Williams, but Cherilus is still a player who should have a solid and lengthy career. Look for him to anchor the right side of the line in Pittsburgh for years to come.
