Morning Update (Never Too Early for Fantasy Edition)

Free agent OL Wade Smith recently visited with the Chiefs. Smith started all sixteen games at tackle for the Jets in 2003, Herm's third year coaching the team. (H/T WPI)
Kyle Turley on the radio yesterday -- "This is a serious issue. Families are affected, people are becoming homeless, living in shelters. Do you not see a problem with that? Well, f— you, then!"
Add a few more players to the Chiefs are interested list on KFFL -- Ferris State DB Patrick Wells, Idaho FB Rolly Lumbala and Tusculum DB Octavius Love. That last one is the best football name I've heard in a long time.
Crane at Arrowhead Addict -- "With the 5th pick in the 2008 NFL draft the Chiefs select…NO ONE!"
Jerry Jones definitely plays along as the media drums up his unpredictability in the draft.

Later today we should get our Bengals pick straightened out and then we'll be all set in the AP Mock Draft. I have the Redskins pick and I'll post it in a bit.

When I was in my junior year of highschool football, a certain player destroyed our league as a runningback. Insert Rolly Lumbala. He played for St. Francis, a catholic school in calgary that my school hated, and took his team to provincials. From my experience, the guy was phenomenal, probably the best football player to come out of alberta ever. Unfortunatly that isn't saying a lot, but if he ended up a chief, i would be pretty excited for him.

Draft Rolly with #5!!!!!! Hes got as much potential as albert!
