The Kansas City Chiefs Agree to Terms with FB John Paul Foschi

That makes three.

Foschi (6-3, 266) appeared in 11 games (five starts) as a member of the Oakland Raiders from 2004-06. Originally joining the Raiders as a member the practice squad in 2004, Foschi made the club’s Opening Day 53-man roster in 2005 and saw action in 10 contests (five starts). He finished the 2005 campaign with six receptions for 37 yards (6.2 avg.) and recorded one special teams tackle. He appeared in one contest with Oakland in 2006 before being released on October 7th. Prior to joining the Raiders, Foschi spent portions of the 2004 campaign on the developmental squads of both Denver and Minnesota. He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the N.Y. Jets in 2004.

The Queens, New York native appeared in 44 contests (21 starts) at Georgia Tech from 2000-03. A collegiate tight end, Foschi earned honorable mention All-ACC honors as a senior in 2003 and finished as the Yellow Jackets third-leading receiver with 24 receptions for 174 yards (7.3 avg.) and two TDs. Foschi prepped at Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York.

Three out of the Kansas City Chiefs' eight off season signings have been fullbacks. And this one makes sense -- went to Georgia Tech and he's a former New York Jet from the Herm era there.

He looks like a bigger Lorenzo Neal.
Maybe he will be a late bloomer, a la Tony Richardson.

Read this Bio form Wikipedia and see if
you might see a clue why we picked him up?

FILE - In this Sept. 4, 2009 file photo, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Shaun Hill aims a pass downfield against the San Diego Chargers during the first quarter of an NFL preseason football game in San Diego. Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
