If they pass on Ryan

then he will probably drop to Baltimore at 8 or even further. I still contend that they will take Matt Ryan. They have to get a quarterback and the draft is just about the only chance they have.

I've seen a lot of mock drafts that have the Falcons pass on Ryan, deciding not to reach for him at #3, and draft BPA (numerous posts have McFadden, Ellis, etc.) then go for the best QB in round 2 (mostly Woodson, a few have Brohm falling that far).

I'd be surprised if the Falcons took Ryan

They need a QB really bad, but Ryan is not really a "Face of the Franchise" kind of guy Michael Vick was.

Thought about having the Raiders take

Thought about having the Raiders take Sedrick Ellis just to see who Tom would pick for the Chiefs in the nightmare scenario where J. Long, Dorsey, Ellis and Ryan were all gone.

That would be a rough one on the Chiefs. But the Raiders already have a 3 technique DT they paid alot of money for, so I can't see them getting another one.
