I finally watched 300 last night so I'm seeing this game through the lens of ancient Greek combat. Forgive me if it becomes annoying.

When the Spartans were preparing to defend Sparta from the massive Persian attack, Persian king Xerxes asked the Spartans to lay down their weapons and surrender.

King Leonidas, facing at least 100 times his own men, replied simply-

"Come and get them."

That's right Minnesota. Come to Arrowhead and try to snatch a victory away from the Kansas City Chiefs today. It will not happen. The Chiefs will not fail today. This isn't Houston. This isn't Chicago. This is Arrowhead Stadium.

seeing 300. Its one of the most visually rich movies I've ever seen.

Plus, there are multiple scenes where Leonidas kills like 25 dudes in a row. Amazing stuff.

One TD to Bowe, and two by LJ. Chiefs D bends but doesn't break, Jared Allen and Alfonso both have a sack, and Donnie Edwards causes a turnover (fumble or interception, i don't know). AP scores the Vikings' only TD on a screen pass or dump off that he busts for a long one, and otherwise the Vikings' offense is offensive in the face of Arrowhead noise and the lingering smell of barbecue.

Oh, and also the first time the Chiefs go 3-and-out, if they haven't scored on the previous two possessions, they get booed big time.

anyone else think (read: hope) Bennett is going to get benched if he fumbles early on in this game? dude can't hang on to the ball to save his life, and if Brodie can't start cuz of an interception a game average, shouldn't Herm be getting a little tired of Bennett's turnovers as well?

last week, right?

If Derrick Ross can't make the team because of fumbles, Bennett shouldn't play because of them.

couldn't agree with you more

huard doesn't look like a veteran at all, he looks nervous and is making rookie mistakes...can brodie really be that much worse? if huard really gives the chiefs the best chance of winning now, it's gonna be an incredibly long season, and we must get a qb in the offseason

i hope this play stands and we get this turonver, but it looks like his elbow is down, but i think the refs have already blown a couple plays

yea...

i do think solari would look MUCH better with croyle at QB. i only can see what the TV cameras show me, but i think that croyle would take more chances to downfield, which are probably there. solari just looks like a dink-and-dunk guy because that is all huard is willing to go to...

solari is bad and i think he should be fired after this year, but huard is the major problem IMO.

I'm not questioning Solari

as much as I question huard...The plays aren't as predictable as they've been in the past, but if you watch Huard he doesn't look down field. Maybe once or twice he's gone over the middle to Tony Gonzalez, but has he even throw to a wide receiver yet?

Hate to settle for 3 when we needed 7, but any points are good points for us
