Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp Reading Assignments

As we near the moment when the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp begins, it will be important to be well-versed in the Chiefs roster situation so you can sound smart around the water cooler/dorm room/friends/wife. Some are better than others but make sure you check out our reviews of almost all of the Chiefs' positions.

Offensive Line
Linebackers
Cornerback
Safety
Tight End
Defensive Line
Runningback
Wide Receiver

The QB situation has been dealt with almost to death around here so we left that one out (Hint: It's going to be Brodie Croyle). And we didn't review the kicker/punter situation because we only have one player at each position. We've also put together a depth chart, posted the training camp schedule (via the Kansas City Star) and some possibilities of who will be on the practice squad this year.

If that isn't enough for you, check out the Kansas City Star's training camp breakdown and tell me if you learn anything new. We completely blew them out of the water on gathering info for training camp. It isn't even close.

Can you feel it? Training camp is almost here. I'm getting pumped.

I had heard last week that the Chiefs were expecting to hear some news from Priest Holmes within the week, and definitely by the weekend about whether or not he would be playing for the Chiefs this year or if he was going to announce his retirement. I was wondering if you had heard anything about this, and the Kyle Turley situation that Direckshun had written about

The Priest talk

is becoming an ongoing joke. The Chiefs have said they are going to announce something for a while and never have. See this post about the Chiefs saying they would announce something within 3 months back in February.

Turley is attempting to come back to the Chiefs after being cut this spring. I think everyone has a "wait and see" attitude. We've been duped before thinking he was injury free and I for one will not be duped again.

Priest/Turley

I don't believe either one of these guys will be back. Priest isn't even on my radar anymore. After being out of football for over 2 years he wouldn't be that effective anyway.

Chris, I noticed we are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of AP. Anything special planned?
