Tony Gonzalez is Going to Get Formally Committed

Tony Gonzalez says I love you but you're not taking my money.

Tony G isn't getting married, but he is planning a "formal commitment ceremony" on July 20 in Huntington Beach, Calif., where he'll pledge his love to girlfriend October Russell.

Get this. Former Kansas City Chiefs FB Tony Richardson will oversee the ceremony. Its probably going to be like that Friends episode where, for some reason, Joey marries Chandler and Monica. Props to TG for saying no to the societal pressure of marriage. Kids, take note. Here is a man who has found a loophole in our social fabric (like the common law engagement). Or at least he somehow managed to keep a girl around without having to marry her. Being a future Hall of Fame NFL player probably helps with that.

Not everyone has kind words for TG though. From their comment section:

Damn. That was harsh. Can you imagine telling your girlfriend that your "engagement" was in the paper and then reading that right below it? A quick Google image search reveals the skanks in question.

does love the Plaza. I've seen him down there before. Strangest pair I've seen on the Plaza together is Jason Dunn and Mark Teahan from the Royals. Dunn might be able to eat Teahan.

I could have sworn

I saw Jason Dunn on the plaza yesterday. Tall black dude with long dreds.

I looked up his picture when I got him and I'm nearly convinced it was him.

Primetime, don't forget about your Herm sighting on the plaza too.

I've seen Dunn and Teahan on the plaza, and although they were both at the same place, Teahan was with some girl, and Dunn was at a separate part of the bar. As for other Chiefs sightings, I've seen Jared Allen and Kawika Mitchell with each other enjoying drinks and each other a little too much, as evident with the two locking lips and Allen's DWI...

That's true.

Saw Jared Allen and Kawika Mitchell at the Gran Falloon (I think during the season?), and they were in what looked like a heated conversation, but probably just drunk knowing Jared Allen and they pecked eachother on the lips.
