Chiefs 2008 Opponents Finalized

Looks to be quite favorable.

Home
Denver
Oakland
San Diego
Buffalo
Miami
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Tennessee

Away
Denver
Oakland
San Diego
New England
NY Jets
Atlanta
Carolina
Cincinnati

Tennessee and Cincinnati are the final two opponents to be finalized. The home schedule is favorable for wins but not for selling tickets.

Deja vu
I'm sure I looked at this seasons schedule and thought it looked favorable for wins too.

Oh well.

Blame my wife!

Yeah me too
but that was before I realized that our O-line played like a bunch of 6 year old girls.  At least we get the NFC South, arguably this year's worst division (though the AFC West gave them a run for it).

all four teams were at least decent
and the packers were the second best team in the NFC.

the bears were disappointing, sure, but the vikings looked really good at the end of the year and the lions looked really good the first half.

not the best division, but the nfc west, nfc south, afc west and even afc north are all worse IMO.

afc east is pretty bad too. all they have is the pats, everyone else in the division sucks or is just halfway decent (buffalo).

there are two REALLY REALLY good divisions this year, afc south and nfc east, and the other six all have their warts.

Wild Cards
both went to the AFC South, I don't believe that has happened in quite a few years...of course if I remember correctly there was a year in the 90's when all THREE (remember way back then?) wildcards went to the AFC West

I don't even count the NFC West anymore
that hasn't been a competitive division in like the last 10 years.  I'd call the NFC North mediocre, about like AFC West (though their record was better).  The Vikings almost grabbed a wild card and with Peterson and a decent defense, I'd expect them to head to the playoffs next year.  The Bears confuse me and the Lions will almost surely improve or suck horribly...that seems to be their story recently, no consistency year to year.
