Power Rankings: Week 15

ESPN #27 Last week #27

That regular season finale on the night of Dec. 30 at the Jets looked enticing at one point (the whole Herm Edwards vs. former team angle). Now it's just a game of two teams who can't wait to end the season.
CBS #22 Last week #22
What have we learned about Brodie Croyle so far? That he's got a long way to go.
Fox Sports #27 Last week #23
The Chiefs lost their sixth straight game and fell to 4-9 with a devastating 41-7 loss in Denver. KC went three-and-out eight times and had three turnovers in the defeat. Denver outgained the Chiefs 453 to 129, including a 215-16 margin in the rushing game. It was a true manhandling. Kansas City, once 4-3 and in first place in the AFC West, takes on playoff-hungry Tennessee this weekend.

So we're not the worst?
What is perhaps surprising is that we aren't ranked #32. There are teams considered to be worse than the Chiefs! Or is that just because we haven't played them this season?

Dolphins
They'll hold on to the worst spot as long as they lose.

At the
end of last season I figured 4-12 would be a fitting follow up season to backing into the playoffs. I believe that is going to be the case. You heard it here first next season 3-13. We are building and still building in 09 at 2-14!

Backing in
to the payoffs last season was probably the worst thing that could have happened to this team. All that misplaced hope and optimism.

I disagree
It was a blast seeing the various teams lose that had to lose. I was so excited. That Sunday night was a great time to be a Chiefs fan.

The excitement
was fun ,but the thought at the end of last season was that next year will be better.

Well
This year's next year has a much better chance of being better than last year's next year.

yeah
nothing will ever beat watching the Donkeys lose at home, in overtime, to the sad ass 49er's when all they had to do was win or tie to make the playoffs...priceless.
