New Blog: Once A Metro covering Red Bull New York!

Friday Morning Update (Accountability Edition)

  • Can we get enough trash talk when we play the Colts? Never!

  • I've been meaning to mention this (and figure it out myself) but KC Chiefs Fanatic has a ton of highlight videos posted, which play right in your web browser. Quite convenient.

  • This is excellent news. Larry Johnson is walking without a boot on his foot and fully expects to return this season.

  • In light of the LJ injury news, click here to see the face of a shitty reporter. And blogs get a bad rap!

  • Warpaint Illustrated has a interesting interview with Clark Hunt. Part one is linked within part two. You really get the impression that the Hunts are one of the heavy-hitting, for lack of a better phrase, families in American history.

  • Another zen interview with Priest Holmes. I fully expect Priest to pull a move like Raiden in the original Mortal Kombat and just teleport to the endzone.
I'm not a Chiefs "insider" by any means. I don't have access to any of the players (Press pass Mr. Moore, please?), save the one time I saw Herm Edwards on the Plaza. But, unlike that MyFox Colorado reporter that stated that LJ was out for the season, I do clearly label things rumors and come back to confirm them when I can.

If a report about the Chiefs is questionable, you won't find me reporting it as the truth. Blogs already get a bad enough rap for not having enough accountability. I hope you loyal readers trust what I have to report and how I report it. Because once you blow one story, its all downhill from there. I will never, ever, be able to trust anything coming out of that Colorado television station ever again. They blew it. We called them on it. Nothing will probably happen.

I may not get the scoops but you can come here for Chiefs news that is accurate and reliable. If something is questionable, I make damn sure everyone knows it.

And we appreciate that.
You've had your fair share of Chiefs news that has come out of here first.
