Jaguars Fans Don't Get this Excited Anymore

The year was 1997. It was the Jaguar's third year as an NFL franchise. They went 11-5 that year before getting demolished by the Denver Broncos 42-17 in the AFC wild card playoff game. I know this is a clip of our opponent's fans cheering but it still strikes me as funny. Especially the video description, which reads "In 1997, we might have been just a little too excited about the Jacksonville Jaguars." Judging by the recent stadium attendance in Jacksonville, its a good guess that most of the fans in this video aren't around anymore. There's just something unnatural about screaming "Go Jacksonville!" at the top of your lungs into a video camera.

We haven't had much of that around here recently.

Did you hear Travis Henry tested positive for marijuana? He apparently faces a one year suspension. The AFC West just got a bit more interesting.

And I don't want to hear anything about the Denver running system. Henry was pretty good and much better than anyone Denver currently has backing him up.

Very good for the Chiefs. I'm still waiting to hear when he'll be suspended. If it's effective immediately or what.

Tailgateandwin: I was in St. Louis in Jan. '04 when the Chiefs were in it. Talk about being in the worst place ever for a Chiefs playoff game....I was going crazy too though.

I don't think the Chiefs are in a position to talk trash yet. Maybe soon but not now. I just want to see them win on Sunday. Jacksonville's D is tough. I hope we scare the crap out of Gerrard though.
