Recap: Colorado vs. Texas

Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - Colt McCoy threw for 262 yards and two scores to guide the fifth-ranked Texas Longhorns to a 38-14 victory over Colorado, in both schools' Big 12 opener.
McCoy completed 23-of-30 passes and was intercepted twice. Chris Ogbonnaya caught six passes for 116 yards and a score, while adding 71 yards and a TD on the ground for the Longhorns (5-0, 1-0 Big 12), who were held under 40 points for the first time all season but still managed a convincing victory.
Cody Johnson added a pair of rushing scores for Texas, which has won three straight games against Colorado and remains unbeaten headed into next Saturday's Red River Rivalry game with top-ranked Oklahoma.
Cody Hawkins and Matt Ballenger each threw a touchdown for the Buffaloes (3-2, 0-1), who have dropped two straight games.
