The Kansas City Chiefs are finally signing one of their free agent visitors. Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Chiefs are signing TE Gavin Escobar to a one-year deal. Escobar visited Kansas City earlier today, according to Caplan.

This is an interesting move because Escobar seems to have all the physical talent in the world but the production hasn’t been there. His best season is nine catches for 134 yards four years ago. He certainly looks the
Where does Escobar fit? I would say he is competition for Demetrius Harris. The Chiefs do like Harris evidenced by the three-year extension they gave him last year so I don’t think it’s a done deal that Harris is gone or anything or even if that Escobar makes the team.
I’m excited to see how he fits in and if the Chiefs can get the best out of him. There was a lot of talent coming out as a second round pick in 2013. Let’s see what happens.
