We have an explanation as to why Tyler Bray was not participating in Kansas City Chiefs training camp practice this morning. The Chiefs say Bray has a chip fracture in his spine. If you’re like me, you freak out when you hear spine but the Chiefs say it’s not as serious as it sounds.
Burkholder says Tyler Bray was slammed to the ground in game and has a chip fracture in his spine. They are treating it like a sprain.

Chiefs trainer Rick Burkholder said:
Burkholder on Bray: "We think he's going to be fine...no timetable for return."

Whew, I’m glad this isn’t anything that serious.
Obviously we’re all wondering how long will he be out because the Chiefs will have to make a decision on their quarterbacks at some point. Hopefully there’s more clarity coming. For now, this means more reps for Aaron Murray.
