We talked with Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid on a conference call this afternoon and he hit on a number of topics. One person we haven’t discussed enough since Saturday’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks is rookie Chris Jones, who looked pretty darn good.
Jones came out of the draft as someone known for long arms and big hands. He displayed that on Saturday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said.
“He was able to reach out and grab people,” Reid told us. “I thought he did a good job of playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage. He got to do it against a couple of different looks.”

I know I know I know I shouldn’t read too much into one preseason game but I’m feeling good about Chris Jones. I think GM John Dorsey may have hit on one.
