It's a theme this offseason Former Kansas City Chiefs players are saying good things about the team. The latest comes from new Chiefs S Jimmy Wilson, who told the KC media in a Wednesday conference call that he talked to a couple of former Chiefs about coming to Kansas City.
"(Sean Smith) spoke highly of the organization and how it was there and also I played with Brandon Flowers last year in San Diego and he told me I'm in a great place," Wilson said.
Wilson played in Miami with Sean Smith while he played with Flowers in San Diego last year. That's not the only Chiefs connection as Chiefs assistant coach Al Harris was a coaching intern in Miami when Wilson was there.
Wilson also said that he has experience as a nickel corner, which should be of interest to Chiefs fans. That position is an unknown right now while cornerback is considered one of the Chiefs biggest needs right now.
