Chiefs Digest’s Matt Derrick is reporting that KC Chiefs starting left guard Parker Ehinger is done for the season with a knee injury suffered in Sunday’s win over the Colts. I guess this takes care of the roster spot needed for Bishop Sankey.
#Chiefs LG Parker Ehinger out for season with knee injury, per source. IR move could come later today to clear space for RB Bishop Sankey.

The Chiefs said this was a knee sprain after the game but if you were watching the game you knew this might be something more serious. The TV broadcast picked up a scream from Ehinger as he went down in the game. Yikes. It’s not clear exactly what’s wrong with his knee but it’s enough to keep him out for the year. (Update: Adam Caplan is saying it’s an ACL)
Zach Fulton would likely be the next man up. He’s started before and stepped in last week when Ehinger went down. The Chiefs also have Jordan Devey (who is hurt) and Jah Reid as guard options.
