Forbes annual valuations of NFL teams has determined the Kansas City Chiefs are worth $1.1 billion. That ranks 24th in the NFL, just ahead of the Arizona Cardinals (a mere $1 billion) and just behind the New Orleans Saints ($1.11 billion).
That's what Forbes says they're worth. I don't know how accurate these are (their methodology). But what would the Chiefs actually sell for if they were put on the market tomorrow?
For context, the Cleveland Browns sold for a reported $987 million two years ago. The Buffalo Bills are currently for sale. Their bids are just under or just over $1 billion depending on who you ask.
Those two teams are actually pretty good comparisons for the Chiefs. If the Chiefs were on the market tomorrow, I place my guess directly at $1 billion.
How much do you think the Chiefs would sell for tomorrow?
