My mind just exploded. As much as we talk about Reid and getting the most out of QB's...

Reid has never coached a 4,000 yard passer except for when he coached Favre in '98. Donovan McNabb never once threw for 4,000 yards. And Vick obviously never did it. Yet Reid's offenses always passed, a ton. And were highly effective. How? How is that possible?

On the flip side in Alex Smith's 8 season in the league he has never helped a receiver achieve a 1,000 yard season. Do you think it is possible for both of them to break those streaks in the same year? How about this year? If it does happen, it will be because a third milestone will be broken at the same time. Jamaal Charles will be the one to go over 1,000 receiving and join Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig in the 1,000/1,000 club.

In other words... not gonna happen.
